JD Presents: The Brit Project is the result of a collaboration between Publica Music Events and 9Seven Group. Publica Director, and record label owner, Steven Wood, pictured with venue co-owner James Cohen.
Wood said: “The idea of The Brit Project came through my love of music. I wanted to create a special music event with a festival vibe, but without the mud! In other words, an indoor festival with all the amenities.
“The first band we approached were Primal Scream – who I think are one of the most consistently brilliant live bands on the circuit – so I was thrilled when they agreed to headline our first event. Victoria Warehouse will be perfect for the first Brit Project – our long-term aim is to tour it around the UK in other unique venues.”
JD Presents: The Brit Project runs from 5pm till late.
