Get ready to “bean bag” yourself a free family cinema experience in Piccadilly Gardens

Residents, commuters and visitors to Manchester are being given the chance to enjoy a unique winter warming experience this January, as Vaillant’s Warmth Week comes to town.

On Monday January 16, also known as Blue Monday, Vaillant will be helping visitors to banish the post-holiday blues, when the world’s biggest bean bag arrives in Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens.

Open to all until 20 January, the larger than life bean bag is perfect for a little feel good break during a busy day, and is also set to break a World Record.

Furthermore, the Bean Bag of Warmth will be offering Manchester residents a truly unique feel good experience, with a programme of free movie showings for all the family throughout the week. Visitors can choose from family favourites such as Toy Story and Inside Out, comedy classics including Cool Runnings and blockbuster hits like Mamma Mia.

Alice Woolley, Marketing Director at Vaillant, said: “For many, January brings the gloomiest time of the year. At Vaillant, everything we do is designed to help create warm and cosy homes, which is why we wanted to help to brighten up people’s day, by giving them a unique warming experience when out in the cold and away from home.

“We encourage everyone who’s looking to warm up this winter, to come down to Manchester Piccadilly Gardens and enjoy a unique movie experience on our Bean Bag of Warmth for themselves.”

Those who visit the bean bag will be invited to select a free warming gift to take home for themselves. Visitors will also be encouraged to share their experiences through social media channels using the hashtag #keepsmiling in a bid to win a host of other prizes.

If a record-breaking bean bag isn’t enough, Vaillant’s Little Pods of Warmth will also be at Piccadilly Station on Wednesday 18 January. As well as offering the perfect place to snuggle on a cold day, each pod will feature a control pad, allowing the user to change everything from the lighting to the temperature, to create their own personalised Warmth experience.
